They also have hair on other bodyparts, like arms and legs, back or chess. Their are diffrent customs to either keep that hair or shave it, though it is more common for women than men to remove it. As they age their hair often turns grey or even white. Their eyes can be be brown, blue, green or grey. Other hair and eye colors indicate magic.
Humans tend to get fat when they don’t have enough exercised or have an unbalanced diet.
Language: Humans speak the common tongue. Depending on the region they are from, they tend to have diffrent dialects which vary not only in grammar and pronunciation, but also certain words.
Information: No one knows exactly where the humans came from. At some point they just apeared and spread like an epidemic across the whole world. They have only very little connection to magic and even less to nature. They destroy everything that crosses their way.
Humans have a very short lifespan. But they breed quickly and are fast and ambitous learner. Because of their ability to change and adapt, they managed to spread and expel other races.
Along with the dwarfs and the elfs they are the apsiring race in charge of the world in this new age.
Humans dominate all four regions, but they originate in the element of earth. Along with the nymphs and the vampires they are the only creatures that were not created by the gods.
They first appeared about 10’000 years ago. The human calender writes the year 3’245 and begins with the enthronement of Genrik the Great, a legendary general, who lead the humans to victory in the great war against the elfs and the dwarfs.
Though scollards and aristocrats mostly use the calender of the elfs.
Humans can be found in nearly all habitates of this earth. They live near forests and lakes, in steppes and swamps, deserts and icy wastes, at the sea and on high mountains. They usually live in simple but functional houses made of wood, stone or loam.
Since most humans live in groups, they create little villages and settlements, but also big citys and fortresses. They have gathered knowledge and technologies from many other races and cultures and are now using it to their own advantage.
Humans live in many diffrent kingdoms. Depending on region and kingdom they have diffrent government, traditions and laws. Most often they are ruled by a king who passes his throne to his eldest son. This is practiced especially in the north. In the south most humans are ruled by councils who get elected by the elite. The diffrence between the commoners and the aristocrats or rather the poor and the wealthy is very distinct in almost all groups of humans. The few weahlty aristocrats are deciding over politics and laws, while the majority of the people who belong to the poor underclass gets taken advantage of.
Humans are very patriarchal. Important positions can only be executed by men. Women are seen as less worthy and are mostly responsible for their household and the upbringing of childern.
Children come of age when they are 16. At that age they can learn a profession and get married. In the upperclass marriages are mostly formed by the parents, while the underclass usually marries out of love. Most often women are not allowed to work or they can only be healers or priestesses in which case they stay unmarried. (Of course you can play a woman who works as something diffrent, but you have to explain it in your profile.)
Weddings start in a temple, where a priest marries the couple and continue at a feast that ends and end in diffrent rituals where bride and groom leave into their room to consummate marriage.
A pregnancy lasts nine month. In the underclass children attend school only for a few year or not at all, because they have to help their parents at home or by working and earning money.
The upperclass boys are often taught by a private teacher and are schooled in history, art, languages, geography and martial arts. Girls are often also schooled for a few year, though they focus more on ladylike behavior and appropriate subjects such as sewing, embroidery and music.
Humans were not created by the gods. They worship all gods without having one main deity. There are many diffrent cults dedicated to one god in particular, such as the follower of Chephren, the god of light, Sirr, the god of art or Khea, the godess of death.
Often human tend to have one patron god depending on their occupation or style of living. Merchants worship Jul, the god of trade, seaman worship Yelda, the god of wind and so on.
