Naiads

Life expectancy: ca. 600 years

Appearance:
Like all nymphs, naiads have no sex. They can resemble young men or women, between the age of 15 to 30. They don’t age the same way humans do and look the same for their whole life, from the day they’re born to the day they die.
Naiads can be between 1,30 to 1,70m tall. Their skintone can range from very pale greenish or blueish to a dark green or blue, more rare are greytones.
Their eyes and hair can be blue, green, grey or brown.
If a naiad spends to much time in the water, seaweed, shells or algae can grow on their skin.
Naiads like to wear jewellery made from things they find in and around the water, like stones, reeds, water lilies, duck feathers or fish scales.
Their blood looks like water, though with the consistency of human blood.

Language:
Nymphs speak their own language. It is very bright and clear and high-pitched. There are no k, p, t or q in it, but many sh, z, s, m, n, i, a, y and f.
Since most nymphs don’t come in contact with humans often, they usually don’t learn the common tounge, but depeding on were they live, they might speak the language of other races like the merpeople, the elves or the dwarves.

Information:

Dryads can be between 1,30 to 1,80m tall. Their skin has the colour of wood, ranging from the white of brich trees to dark ebony. Sometimes parts of their skin can look like bark and leaves, flowers sometimes even branches can grow out of their skin.
Their hair can be green or brown, more rarely red or yellow, depending on the colour of their tree. Their eyes can also have the colours of flowers or fruits, that grow on their tree.
Dryads like to wear jewellery made from things they find on and around their tree, like leaves, flowers, fruits, grass or wood carvings.
Their blood looks like tree resin.

Language:

Their hair and eyes can be blue, grey, white, blond  or silver.
On their backs they have wings, similar to dragonfly wings, with which they can fly.
Sylph like to wear jewellery made from things they find in the air, like feathers, parts of insects, leaves or flowers.
Their blood is translucent.

Language:

Oreads can be between 1,30 to 1,70m tall. Their skin has the colour of stone, from very pale grey to pitch black. Their skin often appears to have cracks and holes in which crystals or gems seem to shine, sometimes even ember or lava.
Their hair is also grey or black and can sometimes have single streaks in the colour of gemstones.
Their eyes can glow black, yellow, orange or red.
Oreads like to wear jewellery made from things they find in their caves, like stones, gems, crystals or bones.
They have grey, shimmery blood.
