The great council chooses the king who rules over all dwarves in the world. The elecctions are very complicated and can last for a rather long time. Though it is custom to stop all fights and conflicts until the next king has been chosen. The chosen dwarf stays king until his death. The king of all dwarves, the krolarach (King of/in the moutain), lives and rules over Gon’Tahlis and is mainly responsible for the dwarven relationships with other races and the well being of dwarves otuside the dwarven kingdoms. He is also a mediator in conflicts between tribes or kingdoms. He does not rule over the other kingdoms.
